Dear fellow Executive Directors:

At the beginning of the year, we committed to a rejuvenated spirit to bring the best of ourselves to our housing authorities, staff, and residents. Some of the foundational tenets in our mission included collaboration, communication, innovation, adaptability, and continuous learning.

In just a few more weeks, I am excited to see all of you at the annual NCHARRP Spring Seminar held at the Raleigh Housing Authority on May 13th and May 14th. It is the perfect forum for us as Executive Directors, leaders and professionals, along with our staff and colleagues to share knowledge, experiences and opportunities that will lead to creative and improved solutions.

I highly encourage you to prioritize this time together with your fellow team members and commit to expanding your perspectives as well as providing your valuable insights that will help others.

A very young Mattie Stepanek once said, "Unity is strength; when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved."

Join with me and your fellow Executive Directors in doing our part to nurture this unity and collaboration.
